Welcome to the Students Online Resources page. We have two main areas of resources sponsored by Polk County Schools, Curriculum Based Resources and Library Research Resources. The navigation to the left will guide you to additional online resources.
The Library Research Resources are available to all Polk County Students; some require a username and password, which may be obtained from the school library media specialist. This area provides resources for all subject areas and grade levels.

Teachers throughout Polk County Schools use the Curriculum Based resources in class. The Teacher provides the login and password for these resources.

Destiny is used for the Polk County Schools district library catalog. Select your school from the list. If you want to check out a book, contact your media specialist with the title, author, and call number.

The Biography Resource Center (BioRC) is a comprehensive database of biographical information on over 380,000 people from throughout history, around the world, and across all disciplines and subject areas.

Kids InfoBits is a database developed especially for beginning researchers in Kindergarten through Grade 5.

Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7.

Odyssey is a Sunshine State Standards aligned PreK-8 curriculum that provides interactive, self-paced activities in mathematics, reading, language arts and science.
