The tournament consists of two rounds - the Semifinal round in which all participating schools compete in one of several competition rooms and the Championship Round in which the six schools with the highest scores from the Semifinal round compete to claim the title of County Champion. These two rounds are held during after-school hours on consecutive days in March.

All coaches should review the orientation video with their team members prior to the January competitions. If you are a new coach or do not have a copy of the orientation video, please contact Academic Competitions.
The public is cordially invited to attend. Admittance into competition rooms will be allowed only during scheduled breaks after each ten (10) questions.
All schools will participate on Tuesday, March 24 according to the following schedule:
3:45 - 4:00 PM - Teams arrive and reportdirectly to their respective competition sites:

4:00 PM - 4:15 PM Team roll call and introductions
4:15 PM - 6:30 PM Competition
The six (6) schools with the highest scores will return on Wednesday, March 25 to compete in the County Championship. Schools are welcome to stay in their competition rooms on March 24 for the announcement. However, an e-mail will be sent to all participating coaches and schools on the evening of March 24 listing the six finalist schools.
The schedule for Wednesday, March 25 will be the same as above.
The six finalist teams are to report directly to Sikes H for the final round and the Awards Presentation following the competition.
