The Learning Resource Center of Polk County, Inc., a non-profit United Way agency is offering Summer School Programs for Kindergarten through 12th grade students. Camp Ready for rising and repeating Kindergarten students, Elementary Intensive Reading and Math for students in K-5th grade, Camp Lorax, science enrichment for students who have completed grades 3rd,4th and 5th , Middle School courses for students who have failed up to two (2) courses needed for promotion, High School courses that will allow students the opportunity to earn up to two (2) ½ credits for graduation, Study Habits of Successful Students which provides study skills and motivational strategies to prepare students in grades 6-8 and College Success Planning for students in grades 9th-12th or college freshmen students looking for techniques and strategies for success.
