WINTER HAVEN - At Fred G. Garner Elementary School, a parent program is getting statewide attention.
Garner soon will be recognized with a Florida Department of Education/Parent Teacher Association Parent Involvement Award for its efforts to get parents with limited English engaged in their children's education.
