Polk County Schools will welcome approximately 93,000 students when school begins for students on Monday, August 22, 2011. All schools will operate on the same calendar. Teachers return to their classrooms on Monday, August 15, 2011.

Bus Routes and Delays
Contact the Dispatch Office at 863-534-7300 with questions about bus routes or delays. Postcards will be sent home which will include busing information, area manager and area contact number. Once school is in session, click here to view the current list of bus delays.

7th Grade Immunization Requirements

Free Back to School Immunizations
The Polk County Health Department’s Immunization Program is urging parents to have their children immunized for the upcoming school year. Parents can visit the Polk County Health Department Immunization Clinics or their health care provider to have their childresn vaccinated and avoid the back-to-school rush and long lines during summer time.
