More ways to keep up with the latest news from Polk County Public Schools:
November 7, 2016
Families of ESE students in Polk County are invited to attend a Meet & Greet on Nov. 14 with the Learning Support staff of Polk County Public Schools.
This free event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Spessard L. Holland Elementary, 2342 E.F. Griffin Road in Bartow.
Families can familiarize themselves with the resources available for ESE students through the Learning Support division, as well as have an opportunity to ask questions and interact with staff members.
“Polk County Public Schools’ Learning Support division has a lot of new administrators and other staff members whom parents may not have ever met,” said Dr. Kimberly Steinke, Assistant Superintendent of Learning Support.
“We really want families to understand that we are here to support their children and serve as a resource for them. That starts with getting to know who we are, and how we function as a division within the school district and in our schools.”
