Polk County Schools, Educational Programs Ready to Shine at WE3 Expo

Polk County Public Schools will showcase its top educational and workforce programs during the ninth annual WE3 Expo.

The free event is open to the public. It will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3 and Friday, Nov. 4; and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5 at The Lakeland Center, 701 Lime Street.

The expo will feature nearly 400 booths spotlighting the innovative schools, programs and careers available throughout the county, offering parents and students a convenient way to explore Polk’s many educational opportunities.

More than 10,000 people are expected to attend.

Polk’s public, choice, charter and magnet schools from all grade levels will be represented. Featured programs include career academies, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, career and technical education, JROTC, and the fine arts, among others.

Biz Bash, an exclusive WE3 Expo networking event for the business community, will kick things off at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3. To attend, please RSVP online through the “Biz Bash” section at www.WE3Expo.com.
