Semifinalist from Lake Region High Named in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program

Please be advised National Merit Scholarship Corporation officials have announced the Polk County semifinalists in the 58th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. These students will have an opportunity to advance to the finalist level. Ten students join the approximately 16,000 semifinalists nationwide who are competing for some 8,300 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $32 million that will be offered next spring.

The students include Lake Region High senior Jayden Rodriguez.
