Kathleen High’s FFA Chapter is one of four Florida high schools to be given a three-star rating by the National FFA Organization. Tenoroc High’s FFA Chapter received a two-star rating from the organization.
Each year, the National FFA Organization allows schools that receive a gold rating by their state FFA associations to compete for National FFA’s 3-star, 2-star or 1-star ratings. Each chapter that wins receives a plaque and a spur designating their rankings.
As a national 3-star chapter, Kathleen High is now eligible to win additional accolades such as the National Model of Innovation Award or the Model of Excellence Award.
The National FFA Organization is a premier youth, leadership organization with middle and high school student members from across the country. FFA members participate in leadership and career development events aimed at developing leadership potential, personal growth and success through agricultural education.
