Polk students won awards at the national and state Future Business Leaders of America Leadership Conferences. FBLA is a business education program in secondary schools for students to develop vocational and career competencies.
At the national conference, held in Atlanta, Bartow High students Graham Foreman and Emily Trogolo won second place in the entrepreneurship competition. Also at nationals, George Jenkins High student Alex Yarbrough won eighth place in the Future Business Leader competition.
