The Florida Division on Career Development and Transition (FDCDT) has awarded Transition Teacher Charlene Schultz the 2012 Making a Difference Award. She was given the award during the FDCDT award luncheon held May 3 at the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel.
The Making a Difference Award is given to individuals who are “Making a Difference” in advancing the transitioning of persons with disabilities from school to post-secondary life. Mrs. Schultz works with students at Polk Transition Services which was located at Southeastern University. The outstanding educator regularly provides exemplary transition services with an unwavering devotion to her students with disabilities.
