An orientation for parents and their students who will be ninth graders at four Lakeland-area high schools in 2009-2010 will be held on Tuesday, February 10.
The parent-student orientation will be February 10, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at George Jenkins High, Kathleen High, Lake Gibson High and Lakeland High. Current eighth-graders and their parents are encouraged to attend these orientations at the high school they are zoned to attend. These informational meetings will discuss registration, graduation requirements, student and school expectations, academic programs and electives.
Orientations at George Jenkins, Kathleen and Lake Gibson will be held in the school auditoriums. Lakeland High will hold the orientation in the school cafeteria.
