In order to meet the need for administrators at the Elementary and Secondary level, Polk County Schools has established a pool of applicants. All applicants for School Based Administrative positions must be accepted into the Principal or Assistant Principal Pool.

  • Employees with Polk County Schools interested in administrative positions may contact the Professional Development Office for information.
  • A Non-Employee, Experienced Administrator Pool was established to tap into the wealth of experience from outside the district and the state. This will allow applicants in the Experienced Non-District Employee Administrative Pool to apply for specific administrative positions.
