In order to meet the need for administrators at the Elementary and Secondary level, Polk County Schools has established a pool of applicants. All applicants for School Based Administrative positions must be accepted into the Principal or Assistant Principal Pool.
Employees with Polk County Schools interested in administrative positions may contact the Professional Development Office for information.
A Non-Employee, Experienced Administrator Pool was established to tap into the wealth of experience from outside the district and the state. This will allow applicants in the Experienced Non-District Employee Administrative Pool to apply for specific administrative positions.
