Kay Fields, a native of McComb, Mississippi, is serving her second four-year term on the School Board. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and received a B.S. degree in English/Secondary Education. She is President and CEO of Girls Inc. of Lakeland, an after school and all day program when schools are closed for girls in grades K-12. Ms. Fields has served on numerous committees and boards and currently is a Board member of SweatMonkey, Inc., a member of the Lakeland Vision Steering Committee, and she chairs the Quality of Life Foundation Team. She is also a member of the Central Florida Regional Planning Council and the United Way Agency Director's Council. Ms. Fields is a member of Without Walls Central Church.
