The WE3 EXPO is a groundbreaking showcase of elementary, middle, high and adult schools! Local business and industry professionals partner with Polk County Public Schools to create the new and expanded WE3 EXPO, a collaborative effort that highlights the wide variety of school options in Polk County Public Schools.

Volunteers are an important part of our school family. To maintain campus security, first time volunteer applicants pay $25 for a Florida Department of Law Enforcement background check.

Little Free Libraries

Little Free Libraries are little decorative waterproof boxes/containers with books inside. These LFL have been placed in communities to promote literacy and the love of reading. The only rule is to bring a book and take a book. Help spread the love of reading throughout Polk County by building or sponsoring a Little Free Library in your community.

ReadingPals Needs Volunteers!

ReadingPals is an early literacy initiative sponsored by Carol and Barney Barnett. It focuses on engaging, training and deploying volunteer tutors to increase the number of students reading at grade level by the end of 3rd grade.

"Polk Men Read" Volunteers Needed

The Library Media Services Department of the Polk Public Schools is recruiting males to be reading volunteers for students.
