The office of Energy Management along with the office of Waste and Recycling for the School Board of Polk County believe strongly in the commitment to make better choices in the way we operate our facilities, as well as helping our staff, students, and parents understand how small changes at home, work, and school can make a big impact on our environment and natural resources.
Through programs such as individual schools energy plans, Energy Star certification, campus recycling programs, and classroom presentations, we are not only making a difference in the way our facilities operate, but also educating our staff and students on how one person can make a difference in this world.
