Students also have the opportunity for internships and job shadowing experiences at local health care facilities, including area hospitals.
A Health Science Advisory Council for High School Medical Academies was initiated in 2007 to increase the communication between teachers and the Health field; therefore, the academy is increasing the opportunities for students. If you are currently in the medical field and would like to join the Advisory Council please click here to email Leann Bennett.
