All practice rounds are scheduled on Tuesdays at 3:30 PM and require approximately one hour to complete.
Schools are not permitted to exchange competition dates or to miss schedule competitions. Coaching supplements will be reduced by one-sixth for each competition missed. Score sheets with student data must be returned to Lisa Rawls, Academic Competitions, within one week of the competition to verify participation.
The 2012 Polk County High School Academic Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, February 16, at Lake Region High School after school hours. Coaches will meet prior to February 16 to discuss All-Star Team selection. The Polk County All-Star Team will be announced at the conclusion of the championship round on February 16.
The 2012 Commissioner's Academic Challenge is scheduled for April 19 - 21 at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
