Polk County Schools offers a comprehensive, research based Preschool Program designed to prepare Prekindergarten children for the academic and social demands of Kindergarten. With an emphasis on literacy, we integrate math, science, social studies and the arts into our daily routine. Our program promotes physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of Prekindergarten children.
We offer Full School Day Programs at 36 schools. No registration or supply fees. You only pay for the days schools are open! We have automatic payment withdrawals from our employee’s monthly checks.
Local Kid Care providers offer extended day care for an additional fee.
