Polk County School District has a certification department second to none! Our Teacher Certification, Endorsement, and No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Specialists are extremely knowledgeable and available to assist you with certification.
In order to be considered for employment with Polk County Schools, applicants must apply and hold (or be deemed eligible to hold) a Florida Teacher Certificate. The FL-DOE's website is filled with helpful information including how to apply for Florida Certification, subject areas covered, and Florida Reciprocity.
