Mission
- Educate all staff in the most energy efficient way to use equipment that they control.
- Provide detailed shutdown procedures for periods when the buildings are not occupied.
- Monitor all school sites, during operational and non-operational hours, for most energy efficient use of equipment and to insure control systems are working correctly.
- Act as a liaison between all schools and the facilities department.
- Monitor all utility accounts for proper rate structure and accurate billing.
- Input usage and cost for all utility bills into EnergyCap software for tracking purposes and to report savings results. .
- Participate in planning of all new buildings and additions to help insure the most energy efficient design.
- Help in educating students and staff about energy conservation by classroom presentations and printed information
