Kay Fields, a native of McComb, Mississippi, is serving her second four-year term on the School Board and is currently the Board Chair. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and received a B.S. degree in English/Secondary Education. She is President and CEO of Girls Inc. of Lakeland, an after school and all day program when schools are closed for girls in grades K-12. Ms. Fields has served on numerous committees and boards and currently is a member of the Agricultural and Labor Program, Inc. Board of Directors (ALPI), the Lakeland Vision Steering Committee as well as chairing the Quality of Life Foundation Team. She is also a member of the United Way Agency Director's Council. Ms. Fields is a member of Without Walls Central Church.
